Elkhorn (TV series)

Have you watched the TV series Elkhorn? Produced by MorningStar Entertainment for the INSP network (and also available on YouTube), the series chronicles the dramatic transformation of Theodore Roosevelt.

Born into New York wealth with a promising political career in the state legislature, Roosevelt suddenly abandoned it all. A devastating loss sparked his journey into the untamed Dakota Badlands: the deaths of his wife and mother on the same day, Valentine's Day 1884. In the Badlands, he established the sprawling Elkhorn Ranch, an experience that later earned him the nickname, "The Cowboy President."

The series stars Mason Beals as the young Roosevelt. Key historical figures featured include the Marquis de Mores, played by Jeff DuJardin, and his wife, Medora (Ashton Solecki), for whom the town of Medora, ND, was named.
